No-Knead Raisin WAlnut Bread

A straightforward recipe for delicious raisin walnut bread. Great at the breakfast table or as a nice snack during the day. Try this recipe with our True California Walnuts!
What You'll Need

1 Dutch oven

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

0.5 teaspoon instant dried yeast

3 tablespoons sugar

3 teaspoons salt

1.5 cups water

1 cup raisins
-
1 cup True California Walnuts, chopped
Putting it All Together

Mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a bowl, and then add raisins and chopped walnuts.

Gradually add water to mix until it becomes dough

Put dough into oiled bowl and let rest for 12-18 hours.

Take out dough, press the dough and release air. Shape dough and place on lined baking tray. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.

Preheat oven at 220C and place dutch oven into oven for 15 minutes.

Place dough into dutch oven. Cover dutch oven with lid and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Cool and enjoy!
Please Note: If you don’t have a dutch oven, you can put the bread dough on baking tray with a tray of water at the bottom of the oven. You can also substitute all-purpose flour for bread flour.
